What would you think of someone who told their eight year old child to kill their puppy in order for the parent to know their child feared them? I think most sane people would call Child Protective Services, I I know I would. Most people would condemn that person for child and animal cruelty.

However, if we truly believe the Bible, then we must believe God is this type of terrible parent. Genesis 22: 1-12 claims that God told Abraham to kill his only son, Isaac. Of course, at the last minute, if we believe the Bible, an angel told Abraham not to kill his son. It seems, according to the "good book",God told Abraham to kill his son to test his faith. If God is all knowing, he wouldn't have to test Abraham's faith. This makes God's order even worse because Abraham would do it anyway!

God was also a pimp, according to Genesis 12:10-16. Abraham was married to his attractive half sister, Sarah, told her to lie with the Egyptians in order to keep from killing Abraham. The story gets worse, after they lied to the Egyptians, Sarah ended up being taken in the Pharoh's house and her pleasing the Pharoh, the Pharoh awarded Abraham with sheep, oxen, slaves, etc. So by Abraham pimped his wife/half-sister to Pharoh. What did God do, he didn't punish Abraham, but Pharoh who didn't know Sarah was Abraham's wife.

In Genesis 17:17 we learn Sarah is 90 years old and God tells Abraham that she will give birth to a son and they should name him Isaac. In Genesis 20:2 when Sarah is past 90 years old Abraham pimps her again to Abimelech, king of Gerar. This time God threatens to kill the innocent king, but the king counters and tells God he believed the lie. According to this awful tale God punishes the king by making his wife and maidsernants sterile, but then changes his mind after Abraham prayed to God on behalf of the king, so opened his wife's womb.

As happened with his pimping adventure in Egypt, Abraham receives from the king sheep, oxen, slaves and a bonus: thousand pieces of silver.

Another revolting story is the Norah and the flood. This story seems to be accepted by many. The people were killed on the earth, with the exception of Norah and his family, God killed everyone, even infants, children and animals How could infants offend God? And what about the unborn babies, what did they do? According to the Bible, Norah was 600 years old. God caused the earth to flood and drowned every animal and person with the exception of Norah and his family and the animals on the ark.

Some Christians believe the babies being killed was justified. Why do they believe this? Supposedly, Eve ate the apple that a talking snake offered her and she convinced Adam to eat it, as well. All of humanity were condemned by God!

These are a few tales, but they paint a hideous picture. This is cruel and immmoral! This is man made dogma!
